I like the perforated vinyl as an alternative to window tint. It can be complicated and difficult to install properly, but it is worth the investment. It is a dry install, unlike window tint. There are no installation instructions with the perforated vinyl.

This is great stuff – window tint is illegal where I live, but since this doesn’t actually prevent someone from looking in, and is easily removable, it doesn’t trigger getting pulled over and written up. I bought it because when the sun shines I feel like I’m inside a microwave oven even with the A/C blasting – this filters the sun and keeps my driving arm from getting fried -I’ve been wearing “arm gloves” made of the cotton knit tubing they put on your broken arm when they cast it and although it protects from the sun, it’s a tad warm. I’ve just purchased more of this vinyl for my other vehicle.
